Discovering Eilat's Underwater Aquarium Observatory

The Observatory

Situated along Eilat’s shoreline, the Eilat Underwater Observatory is a top tourist spot.

Established in 1974, it offers a unique way to explore the Red Sea’s coral reefs and colorful fish without getting wet. The main attraction is an underwater tank showcasing marine life. On land, visitors can see rare fish, a pearl farm model, a turtle pool, and a petting pool. A recent addition is the 'Shark Pool,' featuring a glass tunnel where visitors can watch sharks and stingrays.

The observatory also offers boat rides on the Coral 2000, a glass-bottomed boat, along the coral reef. Expert guides are available to answer questions and provide insights.
